We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professionals to join our team in the roles outlined below.
Youth Housing & Asset Manager
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Kids Under Cover is seeking a dynamic Youth Housing & Asset Manager to lead our housing program and drive positive outcomes for young people at risk of homelessness through prevention and early intervention.
In this newly created role, you’ll manage a growing portfolio of innovative housing assets including studios, mobile pods, and Village 21s; and lead all tenancy management functions. Your expertise in strategic asset management will ensure safety and sustainability of our housing assets. You’ll lead a dedicated team, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and champion continuous improvement to maximise impact.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement strategic asset management plans.
- Manage internal and external maintenance.
- Lead day-to-day operations of tenancy management functions.
- Optimise access to housing solutions for young people and families.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, funding agreements, and child safety standards.
- Drive innovation and efficiency through technology and data-driven insights.
Specialist Youth Housing Worker
The Specialist Youth Housing Worker will report to, and work closely with, the Youth Housing Program Manager to manage Kids Under Cover’s housing portfolio. The role is accountable for assessing new studio applications, resolving tenancy queries and issues, coordinating maintenance requests, and referring young people and families to supports. The role will monitor eligibility and liaise with families regarding studio relocations, Deeds of Sale and decommissions.
Partnerships & Major Gifts Manager
The Partnerships & Major Gifts Manager will lead business development activity across corporate partnerships and major gifts, strengthening external relationships, enhancing Kids Under Cover’s profile and positioning the organisation as a leader in prevention and early intervention.
