Kids Under Cover Scholarships

Scholarships that keep young people learning

At Kids Under Cover, we know that safe and stable housing is only part of the solution. Education is one of the strongest protective factors against youth homelessness and when housing stability is combined with meaningful educational support, the long-term impact is powerful.

As families face rising living costs, soaring housing prices and increasing education expenses, many young people are at risk of disengaging from school, training or further study simply because they can’t afford to continue.

Supporting more than school fees

Kids Under Cover Scholarships help young people stay connected to education and opportunity.

Our scholarships provide practical financial assistance for essential education and training costs, including:

  • Textbooks and learning materials
  • Uniforms
  • Laptops and printers
  • Travel expenses
  • Camps and excursions
  • Equipment and course-related costs

This support does more than cover expenses. It helps prevent the social exclusion that can occur when young people miss out on camps, excursions or activities because of financial hardship. It also gives them the freedom to choose subjects and pathways based on passion and potential – not just affordability – keeping them engaged, motivated and future-focused.
