Kids Under Cover Update

After 18 wonderful years at Kids Under Cover, Jo Swift has announced her resignation as CEO, effective December 2021.

Jo was appointed CEO of Kids Under Cover in 2007, and under her leadership the organisation has had an incredible impact in preventing youth homelessness in our community. During Jo’s tenure Kids Under Cover has seen significant growth in personnel, revenue, and service delivery.

“I am so proud of how I have grown the organisation in my time at Kids Under Cover,” shares Jo.

“There are now over 630 Kids Under Cover studios across Victoria, providing more than 930 young people and their families with stability, security and a brighter future.”

Over the coming months, the Kids Under Cover Board will be conducting a search for a new CEO. It is their priority to find another exceptional individual to lead Kids Under Cover, while still maintaining a stable and effective organisation.

“I look forward to following the future success of Kids Under Cover as the organisation continues striving towards its vision of a community where no young person is homeless,” says Jo.
