All five cubbies sold at the twilight auction held on Thursday 30 March. Congratulations to all award winners, the design & build teams, auctioneers & the successful bidders who contributed to the $92,500 raised. Generously, the total amount raised through the auction has been supplemented by a dollar-for dollar (up to $70,000) grant by Gandel Philanthropy. Long term supporters, Gandel Philanthropy supported this year’s event with a matching grant of $70,000, almost doubling their $40,000 contribution in 2016.

We are incredibly grateful for this vital support which will have a huge impact on the work we are able to undertake.
The funds raised at the auction event will be directly invested into preventing youth homelessness through our relocatable studio and scholarship programs. The amount raised means that we can provide secure backyard accommodation for three more families, and these studios could go on to help up to fifteen young people over time.
