Volunteering opportunities

A great way to make a difference

Volunteering is a great way to make a difference, meet new people and learn new skills.

Kids Under Cover is lucky to have some truly dedicated volunteers as part of our team, regular volunteers who help out in the office, at our events and even involved with the Corporate Build program.

Anyone can volunteer, no matter what your skills, experience or background. With limited resources, volunteering is a vital part in helping us make a difference. Kids Under Cover can’t do it alone. We need your help to prevent at-risk young people from becoming homeless.

A little of your time can make a big difference to the impact of our work and the lives of young people.

How you can help

Sign up as a Kids Under Cover volunteer

Due to COVID-19 volunteer opportunities are on hold for the foreseeable future. If you would like to be contacted when volunteering recommences, please sign up below.

Corporate Volunteering

Build your team and build a better future

For our corporate partners who contribute to the funding of a studio, Kids Under Cover can provide a unique team building experience for staff and other volunteers – they are involved in all parts of the build and there are jobs to suit all skill levels! Find out more or email partnerships@kuc.org.au

Community fundraising

Want to make a difference? Not sure how?

Why not host a quiz or bingo night, or morning tea at work, high tea or movie night? Or maybe you’d prefer to do a fun run, raising funds and awareness for Kids Under Cover? There are many different events and activities that you can organise or take part in on our behalf.

Without the support from all of our community fundraisers we could not continue to deliver our programs, building studios and providing scholarships for the young people we support.

Donate your skills/services

We are always in need of people with skilled volunteers to help out in the office with general administration, maintenance, PR and other professional services like legal or HR.

Drop us a line or  call us today for a chat about any volunteering opportunities

Please note: Everyone who volunteers for Kids Under Cover must hold a valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) and be able to show proof of this. WWCC for volunteers can be obtained free of charge.
