Our 1000th Studio

What a special moment to have the Minister for Housing, The Hon. Richard Wynne present the keys to our 1000th studio to carer, Norma.

Norma says the studio will give the whole family space to thrive.

“Thank you to Kids Under Cover. I know it’s only a studio to you, but it’s a more welcoming home to my kids and our family” – Norma

This took place on the steps of Parliament House on the final day of our four day Walk for Cover from Rosebud to Richmond.

“Walk for Cover is an opportunity to celebrate how much we’ve accomplished together in the last 30 years as well as a chance to raise awareness for what must be done to reach our vision for a community where no young person experiences homelessness.” – Jo Swift, CEO, Kids Under Cover

We are proud to say the event raised close to $100,000, which will go towards building two new studios for young people at risk of homelessness. We wouldn’t be able to reach significant milestones like this without our wonderful community of supporters who share our vision of a community where no young person experiences homelessness.
