Ken Morgan OAM
Founding Patron

Without doubt the most high-profile car dealer in Australia! Ken's automotive links with national television programs turned him into a celebrity in his own right. In the late 1980s, Ken was Chairman of the Variety Club of Victoria for four consecutive terms - the longest serving president on record.

In 1989 he had a dream to build a house for homeless children who had suffered abuse - be it physical, mental or sexual. In order to do that, he had to break away from Variety and go it alone. That dream is now Kids Under Cover as we know it.

Ken is also a Patron of the Mallee Accomodation Support Program and in 2000 Ken was awarded a Humanitarian Award by the Australian Humanitarian Foundation in recognition for his work with homeless children. In 2003 Ken was awarded the Centenary Medal for his services to the community - in particular youth homelessness. On Australia Day in 2011, Ken was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia placing him among whose who have provided exemplary service to the community.
