This year has seen wholesale changes to Kids Under Cover's internal policies and procedures. The changes were necessary to take us forward, creating a more robust framework on which to base our operations.

Part of the review came out of necessity as we apply to obtain State Government accreditation known as Registered Housing Provider status in Victoria and Queensland. 

We are proud to announce that Queensland has been awarded Registered Housing Provider status as of 11 September 2009. 

Executive Director, Mark Wall, congratulated the Kids Under Cover Board and staff on achieving this significant milestone. We wish to thank the Department of Communities for "fast-tracking" the application and contributing this to the open and collaborative partnership formed between Kids Under Cover and the Department of Communities in Queensland.
