The Nikon Gold Coast Indy is set to take place between October 23 - 26, 2008.

The partnership between Kids Under Cover Queensland and Nikon Gold Coast Indy was launched earlier this year when Gold Coast teenagers 14-year-old Faith and 17-year-old Ruca were given the opportunity to show V8 Supercar drivers James Courtney and Shane van Gisbergen the plans for their new studio, which was to be built on the property of their Aunt and Uncle.
 
Gold Coast Indy 300 Operations Manager David Bennett said being able to give back to the community was a very worthwhile and important activity for the Gold Coast Indy 300 team.

A studio will be constructed on the Indy site, giving spectators a chance to 'look and feel' a Kids Under Cover home. There will also be Kids Under Cover wristbands for sale and the opportunity to make a donation to support homeless and at risk young people.
