On Thursday, 28th August 2008 Kids Under Cover officially launched the opening of our Queensland program.

Official proceedings took place at Speakers Green (The Queensland Parliament Annex) at 1:00pm where the Honourable Lindy Nelson-Carr (Minister for Communities, Disability Services, Aboriginal and Torres-Strait Islander Partnerships, Multicultural Affairs, Seniors and Youth) together with a young person, who has benefited from the Kids Under Cover housing and education programs, David Gambin, cut the ribbon to the studio, launching our unique program in Queensland.
