We are excited to announce a record 32 new scholarship enrolments for 2009 as well as 14 students who are continuing on with their studies this year. Our scholarship recipients come from various backgrounds and have faced difficulties many of us would have found hard to overcome.

To all who have generously donated to the Scholarship Program, a very big thank you for your support, especially to our most recent supporter, the Telstra Foundation which donated $403,000 over three years to fund the YourTutor program.

YourTutor  is one-to-one online tutoring service connecting students with expert, accredited Australian tutors for live learning sessions in core curriculum subjects. This funding was a Telstra Foundation Social Innovation Grant which invests in big ideas that use information and communications technologies to engage and connect Australia's children and young people (0-24 years) to their communities.
