It was announced on Wednesday October 15 at the BrainLink Women of Achievement Award Luncheon, held at the Park Hyatt, that Sarah has won the Brainlink Woman of Achievement Award 2008. This annual award given by BrainLink, an organisation that offers free assistance to people with acquired brain injury, has been running for ten years and recognises women from all walks of life who make a difference in their local community.

Sarah's nomination stems from her work not only with Kids Under Cover, but as a bail justice, director of Skyline Education Foundation, as a respite carer, wife and mother of three. She is also the CEO of the not for profit Melbourne Community Foundation (MCF), a capital endowment fund that aims, through public donations, to build a fund that will produce income in perpetuity, to be distributed to the needy.

On behalf of everyone at Kids Under Cover, congratulations to Sarah for this outstanding achievement.
