Minister_Lovell_visitMinister for Housing, The Hon Wendy Lovell MP, visits Kids Under Cover Studio

The Hon Wendy Lovell MP, Minister for Housing and Minister for Children & Early Childhood Development, spent an afternoon in May at a new Kids Under Cover Studio in Tatura, meeting the new owner Axel (aged 15) and his grandparents.

Minister Lovell took the opportunity to visit the studio within her Shepparton electorate to hear how the Kids Under Cover studio will make life easier for Axel and his grandparents, who are his full time carers.

Jo Swift, CEO of Kids Under Cover who accompanied Minister Lovell on the visit,  said, ‘The Victorian Government has given Kids Under Cover funding for several years, which has been vital in helping us continue to build studios to house homeless and at risk young Australians. This funding, together with donations from our kind supporters, has enabled us to house over 2500 young people since we started in 1989.'
