Bequest Program
Leave a gift in your will and help us build homes and provide scholarships and mentors to homeless and at-risk young people.

Many of us want to leave a mark in life. Making a bequest in your Will ensures you can continue to make a difference beyond your lifetime.
Bequests made by you allow us to continue to provide vital accommodation and scholarship programs for many homeless and at risk young people.
Please consider leaving a gift to us in your Will. All bequests, whether large or small, do make a difference. Thank you.
Why make a will?
The only way to be sure that your wishes will be carried out after you pass is to make a Will. Without a Will, part or all of your estate may go to people who you never intended to benefit.
If you have already made a Will
You can leave a bequest to Kids Under Cover by making a simple addition to your existing Will. This is called a codicil.
If you have not yet made a Will
We would strongly advise you to see a solicitor and make a Will. This will give you control over what happens to your assets.
Types of bequests
There are several ways to make a bequest in your Will:
- Specific bequest – a specific sum of money, or a nominated asset like a house, shares or jewellery
- A percentage – a nominated percentage of your Estate (eg.20%)
- Residual – what remains of your Estate after all debts have been paid and all other gifts distributed.
If you need help with the wording, you should seek advice from a solicitor.
Thank you for your generosity
Your legacy will make a difference and give young people the opportunity to reach their full potential. If you have made a bequest to Kids Under Cover in your Will, please let us know. This helps us plan ahead and gives us the opportunity to thank you personally.
