Builder Labourers Federation Queensland Father’s Day Picnic

On Sunday 7 September 2008, the BLFQ Union invited all construction and related companies to participate in a touch football knockout competition at Whites Hill Reserve.

Kids Under Cover was the lucky beneficiary of the funds raised on the day, the target being $40,000 or funding for one studio to support an at risk young person.

This was the 13th year of this popular event and it certainly did not disappoint!

Activitiesincluded dodgem cars, rock climbing, an animal farm, huge slide, two-legged races,sausage sizzle, not to mention the touch football competition.  A studio was constructed on site which gave everyone the opportunity to see fi rst-hand the result of their support. A great day was had by all.
