Kids Under Cover – Charity Partner Gold Coast Nikon Indy 2008

Kids Under Cover got off to a racing start in Queensland as one of two partnering charities for the 2008 Gold Coast Nikon Indy, taking place 23-26 October, 2008.

Gold Coast teenagers 14-year-old Faith and 17-year-old Ruca were given the opportunity to show V8 Supercar drivers James Courtney and Shane van Gisbergen the plans for their new studio, which was to be built on the property of their Aunt and Uncle.

Gold Coast Indy 300 Operations Manager David Bennett said being able to give back to the community was a very worthwhile and important activity for the Gold Coast Nikon Indy 300 team.

A studio will be constructed on the Indy site give spectators a chance to ‘look and feel' a studio as it will look in the backyard of a family home.
