Umbrella Ball and 20th Birthday Celebration

The 700-strong crowd embraced the ‘undercover’ mask theme and were entertained by an outstanding line-up of Australian entertainment including Daryl Braithwaite; Ross Wilson; Harambee Choir; Miss Man; and favourites the Peter Sullivan Band featuring Wilbur Wilde, Geoff ‘Coxy’ Cox, Bob Valentine, Steve Callanan (aka Jimmy Barnes) and Andrea Lees. The dance floor was full all night long!

Kids Under Cover’s new wine sponsor, Zilzie Wines, impressed with a gorgeous selection of wines that perfectly complemented Crown’s delicious three-course meal.

Channel 9 television personalities, Grant Hackett and Elise Mooney, performed the roles of MC and managed to keep the night running to schedule.

Ken Morgan took great pride in presenting this year’s Undercover Angel Award to our friend and supporter Derek Layfield of Ortech Industries. The crowd also heard a personal account of a family Kids Under Cover has supported in Mildura since 1993. The Mildura Rural City Council Mayor, Councillor Glenn Milne, demonstrated the direct effect Kids Under Cover support is having on families and young people.

We achieved an outstanding result on the night, which created a net profit of $160,000.
