12th Annual Umbrella Ball - A Ball to Remember

With fabulous entertainment, a three-course meal, loads of fantastic auction items and raffle prizes, the 2007 Kids Under Cover Umbrella Ball certainly lived up to its award-winning status.

The Victoria Police Pipe Band welcomed more than 800 guests into Crown's Palladium Ballroom, before hosts Olympic gold medallist and TV presenter Giaan Rooney and TV presenter Glen Moriarty took the reins. Our supporters were wined, dined and treated to an outstanding performance by Aussie favourite, Daryl Braithwaite.

The hysterical Laugh Out Loud was back for another year to make the guests . . . well, laugh out loud of course! And The Victoria Police Show Band had the dance floor overflowing into the early morning hours.

Congratulations to our 2007 Under Cover Angel, Graham Schorer of Golden Messenger. Graham and the team have provided Kids Under Cover with free courier services over many years, have raised enough money to fund a studio, and have brokered a successful fundraising partnership on our behalf with Virgin Blue. But wait, there's more! They attend EVERY Kids Under Cover event AND Graham has personally donated numerous items for our auctions. Graham, you're an angel!

Thank you to all our volunteers, supporters, and donors, for your behind help in the lead-up and on the night. Without your support we would never have raised an astounding $225,000 (and counting!).
