Jamie is an intelligent young boy who has a family who loves him unconditionally. He's not too keen on school but loves music and dreams of one day working in the industry. At home, he has his own bedroom decorated as you would expect a teenager's bedroom to be - with posters of his heroes and idols.

Unfortunately Jamie can't remember the last time he slept there. He resides with his maternal grandmother - the only person who can deal with his violent outbursts, which are a result of a mild disability.  When his parents decided it was time for Jamie to live back at home, the advice from the specialist was that he needed space and some peace and quiet, in order to minimise his outbursts. When Jamie is experiencing 'a turn' it is unsafe for his siblings to be under the same roof .

Kids Under Cover provided a studio for Jamie to retreat to when things get too much, as well as sleep and study in it..  There has been a settling in period, but they are working through it as a family.
